Can from San Diego Wine Co. Cloudy black, stable, foamy, dark beige head. Aroma of chocolate milk, cappuccino, vanilla, coconut cream, prune, toffee, brandy. Taste has sweet prune & raisin covered in milk-chocolatey and toffee-ish maltiness; going over mocha, cream & coconut into an earthy hoppy finish with vanilla, gently roasted coffee and warming brandy-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Excellent Porter - perhaps the coconut was redundant here.

Tap@J.Wakefield TTO, Peders, Copenhagen (02/07/2022) - black with a thin beige head. Dark roasted and sweet malty, notes of coffee roast, cocoa and brown sugar, full bodied, sweeping coconut and vanilla throughout the dark malty close. Good stuff.

Flavour is composed of vanilla, light spices, cinnamon, praline, milly smooth roast coffee. Palate is sweet, rounded body, moderate carbonation, Maybe a little too sweet.

Draft - Lots of dark sweet chocolate. Deep jet black with a nice brown head. Deep chocolate and nice sweetness with a bit of bitterness. Big dark and sweet, I think some of the subtle flavors are lost.

RateBeer Best 2016. It pours dark brown with a brown head. The aroma is nutty with cocoa and coffee. The flavor is unique with some hop character, spice, menthol, nuts, chocolate and coffee. The bright menthol notes stand out among other impy stouts at this festival. Didn’t pick up much coconut. Vanilla comes out very subtle in the finish. Nice.
