Bottle, heavily discounted at Dan’s. Gold with a rocky inch of white head. Aroma of mandarins, mango, melon, hay. Light bodied, fairly high carbonation. Not very sweet crackery malt with pleasant fruity accents and a dryish moderately bitter finish. Low key quaffer that’s refreshing and tasty enough.

From a 330ml bottle on 2/3/2016. Pours a clear light golden with a medium head. Has a very modest, light fruity aroma. Flavour wise, the primary feature is a sharpish lemony tang, followed by a pretty firm, dry, lingering bitterness, with some bready malt in the background. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. This is quite refreshing and a pretty good quaffer. Not exactly a flavour explosion, but it’s got a bit of character and is a touch unusual.

Pint on tap at The Charming Squire. Sour/sweet nose. Crystal clear golden beer with thin white head. Highly effervescent. Chalky mineral water taste. Finish is bitter with that same sourness from the nose. I think it’s trying to be a golden Ale with an APA citric freshness but........too harsh and too sour. Bit of a failure, I’m afraid.

Tap. Amber, fine carbonation, low white head. Nice citric aromatic hops in the nose.Sparkly, Medium light straw malt body, bitternes with a light iron twist, grassy and citric hop finish. Quite sessionable, shame it is so damn expensive here.
