500 ml bottle, batch #428, from British Corner Shop. ABV is 4.5%. Clear deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts, toffee and chilli. The flavour is by first sip slightly sweet and innocent, but soon an insane chilli burn takes over and makes the beer nearly undrinkable. So, what's the point?

Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 2017 - cheers all! Pours clear yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose holds pale grains, a little paper. Light sweet flavour, moderate chill burn, hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with further chili burn in the throat. Eh, so so.

Bottle split at Cotts Convention III, thanks to Shane, 20/05/17. Light golden blonde with a moderate off white cap. Nose is toffee, light malts, the nose belies the heat kick. Taste comprises grains, caramel, green pepper bite, straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close with a moderate spice based heat kick. Ok for this kind of thing.

Cotteridge tasting #3 on 20th May 2017. Cheers Shane for this burning example of a chilli beer. Past around like a ’hot potato’ I poured my portion slowly and got a clear golden bodied liquid that had a small, thin, white head. Aroma hides the heat that follows well, some light maltiness and veg soup. Chillies take over completely in the mouth, hot and nasty really. Not a chillie beer fan.

Bottle at Cotteridge Convention 2017. It pours clear yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is fairly mellow....soft, sweet, lemonade, straw and white bread. The taste is quite green and spice, bitter veg, chilli pepper heat, capsicum, white bread and soda water. Light - medium body and moderate carbonation. It has a very green character to it. No depth whatsoever. Novel for about a sip or two.

Bottle at CWC III; clear yellow pour with a thin off white head, aroma has vegetables and a hint of lemon, taste has vegetation, light chilli burn, pretty diabolical stuff.

Tried at the Cotteridge bottle share 2017. Not nearly as hot as last years chilli offering, but still packs a punch. The chilli builds and builds, but not to the extreme.

Sample at the Cotteridge Convention III 2017. Poured a clear straw colour with a broken white head. The aroma is light skunky malt some fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a super dry chill spice palate. It’s all about the chilli. Love it or hate it!
