Cloudy deep gold, moderate white head. Nose: tropical fruit, catty, light hop burn. Similar taste with additional green tea. Dry hoppy ending. Medium minus bitterness. Surprisingly decent.

Quite clear copper and bronze coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall tan head that fades quickly and leaves just a thin later on top. Aroma of strong malt, light grass, hay and a big dose of mild but noticeable lighter alpha acid hops that show a piney and perfumey kick. Medium-bodied; Strong malty bite at first with a dash of perfume, hay, resin and some pine with a touch of flowers towards the end and only a touch of bitterness from the hops, but more malt altogether. Aftertaste shows the malt and nutty side of things with only a touch of the grain and even less of the hops, which are supposed to be noticeable throughout, but are quite mild throughout and especially at the end. Overall, a dose of flowers and toffee at the end with some mild bitterness with a touch of hops, but more of the nutty and earthy pungency towards the end. Good to sample, and definitely not a bad choice, but perhaps not the best IPA here in Vietnam. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Circle K (40 Huynh Thuc Khang) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 08-August-2019 for 68,000VND sampled a day later on my 10th wedding anniversary on 09-August-2019 here in my hotel room here in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Fles in Irish pub Hoi An. Oranje bruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en fruitig met iets van grapefruit en mango. Erg fijne IPA, zeker hier in Vietnam.

On tap at East West, pours a cloudy dark orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out subdued resinous hops, caramel bready malt and a touch of diacetyl. Flavour is very sweet, with cloyingly sweet caramel malt, some diacetyl and subdued resinous hops. This is just bad. Undrinkable cloyingly sweet faux-IPA.

Tap at the Brewpub, HCMC. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is malt, tropical fruit, some pine needle. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a fresh citrus fruit, woody, resin hop bitter, light peppermint, light spice palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Super bitter and not as fruity as I anticipated.
