Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a light orange/yellow body with a half finger white foamy head that rises a bit and then falls leaving some nice slightly foamy yet clingy lacing gracing the sides of the glass, carbonation is seen rising at a moderate pace.
The smell had lemongrass and citrus are up front, lightly malted coming forth in the background but stays mainly subdued for the most part, and there’s a nice spicey/pepperiness coming through to tie everything together.
The taste had lemongrass/citrus leading to a tangy yet peppery almost spiciness, spicy aftertaste, dry finish.
On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium, fairly sessionable. Carbonation seems good for an American Blonde Ale and good for me, becomes slightly crisp.
Overall, actually this is Bridgeport’s best beer that I would come back to again.

Clear slightly amber coloured body with a bright copper glow and a nice one centimetre just off-white head. Aroma of lemons, light malt, candy sugar and much more citrus - nice and strong. Light-bodied; Strong citrus flavour with a hint of sugars and a light pepper note as well. Aftertaste shows a bit of a spice kick and hints of the yeast with very little else - but a bright and airy finish. Overall, a decent beer with a nice smell and nothing bittering or offensive - just on the mild side, but nice in the heat of the summer! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from La Bodega in Anchorage, Alaska on 04-October-2013 for US$1.50 sampled at home in Washington a few minutes before leaving back for the Bridge City - Portland, Oregon on 10-November-2013.

Bottle, 4% About 510 yen from Sugaya. A clear deep gold with a very mouthwatering lemon, yuzu & spice aroma. A great full bodied mouthfeel for a beer that goes down smooth. Sweet & fruity - citrus, lemongrass, yuzu. It is really bang on what the label claims. A well executed beer & as I a big yuzu fan really nice. Perfect on a hot sunny summer day...

12 oz bottle into English pint. Pours a clear gold with a medium-white collapsing head; leaves a long-retaining blanket. Aroma is grainy, cotton candy, lemon. Taste is lightly sweet and dry, grainy with a hint of lemon. Carbonation is a little low for the style, body is light. Pretty boring, but would make a nice quaffer.
