440ml can as a gift, most likely from Houae of Trembling Madness in York. Drunk at home. Very dark almost purplish brown with a tint ring of tan head. Cinnamon and maybe a bit of clove in the aroma, vanilla, raisins, chocolate. Taste is sweet, more puddingy fruit to the fore, with a decent bitterness in the vinous finish. Weighty body with almost no carbonation. It's quite nice but a bit much of a muchness. Enjoyed it but wouldn't fight someone over the last can on the shelf.

Can from HOTM that I didn't get around to drinking at Christmas. Black with a lasting tan head. Sweet black coffee, a hint of vanilla pods, and a big kick of cinnamon in the lightly roasted finish. Maybe a tad thin at times, but still very enjoyable.

440ml can from The Fuss Club. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige/off white head on top. Sweet, malty, chocolate, cinnamon, spice, aroma & taste. A rather tasty festive porter that went down easily.

Cask @ Fox And Goose, Hebden Bridge. Black with a very light-brown creamy-frothy head. Winter spiced version of bad kitty, although the additions are light and its fair strength is uncompromised in terms of taste.

29/3/2023. Can courtesy of ITFCDan. From Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours close to black with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is big aniseed, spice market, Christmas cake, root veg, herbs, leather, hint of vanilla and Parma violet. Medium to heavy sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Wasn’t a big fan of this.
