Tap at CBC 2016 Green session, poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is earthy mineral. The flavour is light bitter with a light sweet malt, light coffee palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Dark brown. Has a full worty aroma, light toffee, soft creamy body with a cracker note, light toffee. Not bad doppelbock.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours black with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted and roasted malt, and German lager yeast, not much fruitiness. Flavour is big, with notes of dark fruits, toasted malt and a little spicy yeast all in great balance. Big chewy palate, with a fruity and medium dry finish. Really nice.
