Grand tasting at Craft Islington with Hackobock. Thanks to Wingman. Clear deep amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, modest carbonation. Light dry malts. Dry spicy dried fruits. Oxidised tasting caramel. Light dry finish. Not making me feel festive at all.

Bottle shared at the Hackobock tasting at Craft Islington. Cheers Wingmane! It pours darkest brown with a thick tan head. The aroma is rich, roasty, quite sweet, juicy, Dandelion & Burdock, plum and fruit cake. The taste is soft, sweet, toasty, chewy malt, cocoa action, dried fruits, wood and leather. Medium body and average carbonation. Not bad actually.
