Cask at the Shoulder of Mutton, Ashby-de-la-Zouch. Amber with a middling off-white head. Bitter pine at first, with a pleasant fruitiness coming through. Ok overall, not up to Purity's normal standards though.

Moon and Starfish Spoons. Cask. LIghtly hazy amber beer. Bubbly white head. Palate is light, semi dry with decent fine carbonation. Semi sweet pale malts. Nice floralness. Good tangerine peel and a little lemon. Mild hop spice. Floralness turns bitter and that tangerine sweeter! Some marmalade on the finish. Spicy linger. Good stuff.

Cask at the Castle - Farringdon, London. Pours clear, rich gold with a frothy, off-white head. Nose is heaving with ripe and dank tropical fruits: melon, mango, papaya. Medium sweet flavor with lots of juicy fruits, tropical and citrus like, with light bread and pine, melon and orange. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Moderately sweet to finish, subtly resinous, with sticky and ripe tropical fruits, a bit of bitter orange rind. Impressively solid.
