Cask, Jolly Crispin, 31/05/17. Floral citrus aroma. Light gold. 5mm of creamy white head. Light sweetness. A citrus/herbal bitterness then comes through. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long finish. Decent enough if not particularly exciting.

Cask at the Jolly Crispin, Upper Gornal. Light gold, almost clear. Crown of white head. Soft lemon drop, candy floss and marmalade in the bouquet... Taste is sweet and fruity while maintaining a malty backbone. Leading to a balanced bitter finish. Not the most exciting of beers but certainly solid and well-made.

Light to medium sweet flavor with pleasant citrus notes and mellow hay bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Well conditioned. Clean finish with dry lemon and tangerine. Good.

Tap at the Jolly Crispin, Gornal. Poured a clear light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is weak malt. The flavour is medium bitter, malty, with a little citrus zest on the palate. A super ale.
