Gravity cask at Whitfest 2025. A really lovely pint, flavour, mouth feel and a richness that created a brilliant package. It was so good I had to have another one.

24/8/2023. Cask at the 31st East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear bright golden copper with a frothy white head. Good looking beer. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, caramel, orange, grass, touch of herb. Medium plus sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, soft carbonation. Quite fine.

16th July 2015: hand-pulled cask pint in The Crown Inn, Oakengates. Golden, dull amber body, white head. Mild citrus nose and flavour, decent enough blend but leaning towards blandness because of the subtle nature of the taste.

Cask at the Victoria Inn, Rugby, 15/08/14. Clear golden with a well appointed off white head that retains well, good lacing ensues. Nose is bread dough, light citrics, grassy, pale maltings. Taste comprises light orange, faint caramel, mellow fruit vibes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bitterness in a semi drying close. Ok GB.

Cask gravity at Watford rugby Club beer fest. Light orange golden coloured pour with a fleeting loose white head. Aroma is sweet honey, floral, cola and ginger. Flavour us honey and ginger malts nice floral, pollen and honeysuckle. Decent. Palate is medium sweet with lowish carbonation. I dig the honey character.

Trust Tring to make a summer ale this good. Toasty syrupy golden colour. Aroma is like a labyrinth of hops. Strong, bitter, hoppy taste fading first to sweet butterscotch, then to a sharp twang. Full mouthfeel.

Cask at the Cambridge Blue, Cambridge on 4th June 2013. Amber with thin part-lacing foam. Malty aroma with fruits. Maltiness and berries in-mouth, with lemon citrus developing into a tangy, fruity finish. Slight note of saltiness. Light mouthfeel and body.

Cask at the Row Barge, Guildford. Poured light amber with a minimal head and lacing that stuck to the glass forever! Not much of an aroma, but quite a bitter, refreshing taste, ideal for the summer. It tasted fine whether cold or when it eventually warmed. I can't see it winning too many awards but it was great to taste and I'd drink it again! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
