750ml bottle @ Black Damnation tasting, Koht, Tallinn. Bottle #71/2000. Pours pitch black with a small head. Aroma of roasty malts, syrup, wood, oak, syrup, hints of vanilla, coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is smooth, slightly syrupy and sweet, hints of stingy wood, oak, whisky, dark chocolate and warming alcohol. Finish is slightly boozy and syrupy with some wood and whisky.

Bottle 750ml. @ [ TTOD(U)RBSG17 - The Tenth Official Danish (Ulfborg) Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2017 ] @ fonefan - Brugmansia house, Denmark. [ As Struise Black Damnation XIII- More Anger ]. [ Bottle # 1162/2000 ]. Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, wood, alcohol, licorice - licorice wood, dark fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, wood, licorice wood, alcohol - whisky. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20170819] 8-3-9-4-17

Sampled @ 10th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg, Day 2. Opaque pitch black color, small light brown colored head. Aroma is heavily dominated by the barrel aging, but some of the base beer is still there. Malts, dark malts, liquor, roast, some liquorice, malt bitter. Full body, decent carbonation.

Sampled @ The Tenth Official Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2017, Day 2. A black beer with a mid-sized most good lasting tan head. Aroma of liquorice, dark roasted malt, wine, wood. Taste of heavy strong dark malt, coffee, liquorice, red grapes, wood, a bit boozy.

8 3 8 3 16 Bottle shared at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering ’17. Black with a ring beige head. Aroma of toast, dark chocolate, caramel, oak, licorice and boozy alcohol notes at the back. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter. Light full bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.
