On this drinking day in 1819 the Peterloo Massacre took place less than half a mile from where I'm sat now, they weren't looking for eden, just a few more rights. Malty but quite hoppy too, with an acidic citrus quality desperate to surpass a more dominant breadiness. Strange but alluring.

Can. Color: Hazy amber, beige head. Aroma: Hoppy, some citrus fruit. Taste: Hoppy, some orange, hints of orange peel. Caramel malt base. Over moderate going to medium bitterness, moderate sweet. Long lasting dry-ish finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice West Coast.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear amber beer, small bubbly cream colour head. Light palate, a little dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light but quite caramel malts. Smooth cooling pine. Bruised citrus. Smooth finish brings a very modest bitterness. Nothing wrong with this brew just a bit too faithful to the West Coast style for me, a style I find dull.

Tap at ZentaKraft, ordered 1dl, got 3, but they were fair about it and didn't charge me extra! Ruby with amber shades, off-white head. Expected heaps of caramel, but no, a fresh citric, grapefruity, bit tropical aroma. Medium body, fairly juicy, tangerine hoppiness galore, bit herbal, lightly piney. I mean, whoa, this is a quality drop, fresh, tasty, old school in some ways, not thaaaat westcoastish, but very much works as a whole!
