Might Arrow Pale Ale provides lots of pleasurable sniffs from Amarillo and Cascade hops with a fetching honey malt base. This is our brewed tribute to Arrow, Kim’s Aussie/Border Collie mix who ran (literally) New Belgium for 12 years. When she wasn’t patrolling the brewery grounds, she was famous for her office visits: She never met a tummy rub she didn’t like. Atta girl Arrow.

12oz bottle. A pretty well-made APA. Filtered orange-tan color. Straightforward stuff in a way, a great balance between the sweet honey malt and the spicy, but cool bitter hops. A hell of a session beer, a hoppy honey ale with an herbal finish.

Sample from 12 oz bottle into English pint. Pours golden with a centimeter head and sticky lacing. Aroma is all piney hops. Nice. Taste is very different than your average pale. It’s hoppy, yet biscuity like Fat Tire. Kind of citrusy. Could be bigger bodied--this beer’s only flaw. One of the most interesting straight pales I’ve ever had.

Straw colored beer, with a light haze - a lot of pine hits the nose first, followed by moderate biscuity malt, light earthy amarillo - moderate honey sweetness, some bready character - slightly floral hops - sweetness fade near the end, leaving some semi-dry hop bitterness - a decent pale ale.

Bottle from Icecody69, thanks! Golden color. Tangerine, red berries, flowers and hay in the aroma. Tangerine and red berries in the earthy, slightly oily hopflavor, lingering on in the aftertaste. Pineapple. Friendly, very pleasant ale.

12 oz. bottle, "Mix-a-six" rack at Hy-Vee, Storm Lake, IA. Pours kind of orangey, close to a good IPA color. Smell shows off spicier pale ale hops instead of a hop-head bouquet. Taste shows good pale ale malt, bitterness is peppery rather than citrusy at first, but then a bit of piney Cascade finally appears. Soda pop-style carbonation is not the best choice for this kind of beer, though.

12 ounce bottle from the Libation Station in Johnson City, TN. Pours a hazy reddish amber color with a medium head. Decent head retention and fair speckled lacing. Aroma is leafy hops, citrus and honey. The taste is very hoppy with grapefruit, pineapple, peach, light resin and honeyish malts. Medium bodied. Hits
