Our Trippel has always been a big, beautiful Belgian-style ale, but in 2015, we tweaked the recipe to include a new yeast variety and even more complex malt profile. This golden beer opens with a bold blast of spicy Noble hops, courtesy of Saaz and Hallertau Mittlefruh, and gives way to the fruity aromas offered by our traditional Belgian yeast. Brewed with Pilsner and Munich malts, Trippel is classically smooth and complex, and sings with a high-note of sweet citrus before a pleasantly dry finish delivers a warm, strong boozy bite. Banana bread on the nose. Taste is typical tripel sweetness with a spicy, clove finish. Slight alcohol burn. Nice example of the style.

355ml bottle at home. Poured clear golden in color. Strong floral nose, coriander spiciness. Sweet, bit boozy. Ok.

35cl Fles van Beer Republic. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Vrij zoet, banaan, fruitig, esters, redelijk bitter maar toch te zoet om tot het eind interessant te blijven. Degelijk.

Bottle.Clear golden colour with large white head.Aroma of apricot and yeast,nice lively with fruity flavors and good notes of hops and and malt nice by style.

Gyllengul vätska med ett stilla och mycket tunt skumlock. Örter, deg och lite bubbelgum i aromen. Överraskande söt smak som späds ut av en saftig fruktighet med litet inslag av örter. Enkelspårig och okonstlad efterapning men ändå långt från de belgiska originalen.

Überraschend fruchtig in Nase und Trunk. Dann typisch tripplig anwärmend, lecker. Kopf, Mitte, Abgang komplett verschieden - astreines Bierchen.

Tap at NBB, Fort Collins, July 2016. Pours slightly hazy golden with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma: yeast, fruit, hint of coriander. Taste: moderate sweet, dry, yeasty, wit type banana esters, little sulphur note. Medium body with soft carbonation.
