The Parking Lot Grissette is a foeder-aged, tart farmhouse ale brewed in collaboration with our friends at Jester King Brewery. Like so many of our ideas, this rustic beer, dry-hopped with Mandarina Bavaria and Huell Melon, was dreamed up in a parking lot session during a climbing trip with our Texas friends.

500ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden to amber colour with average, uncongested, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Mild, bretty, funky and minimally oaky aroma, notes of sherry, grape juice, white balsamico. Taste is mildly tart, fruity, funky, tangy, notes of fruit acid, green apple, overripe peach, a citrusy, touch, fresh woody overtones.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Colin. Very hazy gold beer, no head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has modest carbonation. Tangy orange fruits, ripe orange and lemon. Mild farmyard funk. Light semi dry lemony finish. More fun than your average grisette, but that’s not hard!

Pours a hazy amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Funky fruit, yeast and malt aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal yeast, funky citrus and malt, as well as touches of hops. The finish is tart citrus and yeast. Pretty good overall.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. TBE aroma has notes of spices, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices, lemons, and a bit of caramel, leading to a tart finsh.
