La Bonté is open fermented with our house Brettanomyces strains. The beer is then blended with a portion of Blonde Sour and onto a half pound per gallon of French Pears. Then we age the beer in bottles until it reaches perfection.

Bottled at TNOD(U)RBSG2016. Cloudy pale yellow, brief head. Citric acid aroma. Sour with light body and clean mouthfeel. Citric acid. Not much else. Low bitterness. One dimensional.

Sampled from bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Gathering Ulfborg 2016, Day 1. Hazy yellow color, small to average sized white head. Aroma indeed has some pear in it. Flavor however is pretty sour, almost acidic. Can’t say I get any pear in the flavor.

10th July 2016. Bottle at RBESG Grand Tasting Part 2: Brew Pub Le Sec. Wispy white head on a hazy yellow/golden pour. Pears in both the aroma and taste, nose also had a sparkling perry/wine like small. A touch of sourness in the taste. Different and almost interesting: but not really my taste.
