Draught @ Bakgården Både &, Kristiansand
Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeasty, citrus, peach, wheat and hint of banana. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long sweet, malty, yeasty and fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Shared bottle at Kinn-night with Espen Lothe at Mi2 at Cardinal 04.05.15. Muddy and greyish straw colour. White head. Overripe banans and fenols in aroma. Lots of banans and coriander and taste. Tastes more like a Weissbier or Weizenbock than a Saison, but as such it tastes good. Good drinkability.

Shared bottle @ Cardinal (visit of Kinn brewery). Pours dark golden with little head. Aroma of herbs, hay, bananas. Sweet, little bitterness. Reminds me of a German weißbier or weizenbock. Medium bodied.

Sample from 750 ml bottle, soon available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy brownish golden colour, mpderate white head. Nice aroma with strong notes of banana, also spicy notes, a hint of solvent, but not enough to ruin the beer. Sweet flavour, more like a pale weizenbock than a saison. If you disregard style, it is nice enough to drink, again with notes of banana and mild spices.

On tap @ Bakgården Både &. Unclear, murky orange body with a small off-white head. Aroma is quite yeasty with ripe fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, hint of toffee, yeast and low bitterness. Full body and sticky sweet aftertaste with some fruit. This is really sweet, actually so sweet that I have problems recognizing the Saison behind it.

On tap at Bakgården Både &. It pours an unclear, orange body and a small, off-white colored head leaving lacings. It’s fruity on the nose, tropical fruits, banana and hints of citrus. A little malty touch too. It feels rather sugary both in the nose and in the mouth, but it ain’t really sweet though. Mostly fruity flavor too, leaving little room for malts, but a good bitterness shows up. Lasting finish. It’s full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Too sweetish for my liking this one, but a decent beer anyway. 150502
