Helleland gard & Heldre sider is located in Lofthus, a majestic and remote place situated in Hardangerfjorden. We are situated approx 2 km north of Lofthus, and are next door neighbor with Lofthus camping.
The estate has been in the family for generations, and we have mainly been producing and selling fruits since the 1970’s.
In 2017 we started up an apple cider and juice distillery. Heldre sider has since been known to be a quality cider.
In our farm shop, we sell Heldre sider, juice and several other local products like honey, jam and chutney from other farms in Hardanger.
For groups and private parties, we offer cider tasting in the barn. You can book it here: tastehardanger.com
We also offer cider tasting with a simple meal of cheese inside «Mosstova», our traditional house from the 15th century. Minimumprice is NOK 4900. Reservations must be made three days earlier. Please, contact us on: hellelandgard@gmail.com
