12oz can from Tavour. Clear, pale golden pour, one finger foamy white head. Grainy, bready aroma. Taste follows with biscuity flavors with a crisp, dry finish.

One of the modern very pale interpretations, light bread character, balanced bitterness and a touch of herbaceous hop.

Quite a pale take in the style, golden IPA. Woody, orangey, but the malt profile is really thin. Not quite enough for optimal balance. But the hop is nice.

Pours a bit flat, amber. Dullish-looking. Rich smoke nose and similar palate. Smoke and caramel malt, actually good rauchmΓ€rzen.

Can best before 2326, whatever you take that to mean, drunk 8/20/26.
Good mix of everything here. Cracker/paper from malt with some musty apple from the yeast and a bit of dried herb from the hop. Good and aromatic with authentic notes.
Quite malty, not too sweet, with a biscuity, slight honeyish malt character and plenty of dried herb-like hop notes. A bit overcarbonated, making it more difficult for the intricacies to sink in. Just feels airy/fluffy/expansive. But the flavors are strong, if leaning a bit too heavily on the malt. Certainly clean and well-done but higher bitterness and/or dryness would help, I think.
