At Brimmer Beer Box. Slightly dubiously listed as IRA! Or maybe that is just weird for a Brit. Amber coloured with creamy off-white head. Aroma is skunky hops, resinous, little bit of fruit. Taste is alright, lots of malt, decent hoppiness. Bit of citrus and biscuits and touch of fruitiness, berries and apple. It's alright in the classic Brimmer way but maybe not so exciting.

Tap at the beer box. Was looking forward to this. Wheaty, blond, cloudy colour White head. Aroma is wheaty, twiggy. Taste is grainy, wheaty, where is the NS? Very very wheaty. Not very exciting. Actually not very nice. Bit of fruit there, but way too subdued for me. Had again as Two Dogs American Wheat. Much preferred it. Lots of peach and tropical fruit in aroma. Bit of bitterness at the end. Much better than last time but still not really for me.

Tap at Craft Beer Market Awajicho. Dark brown, small golden head. Aroma is smoky, coffee. Taste is initially porter like but then coffee kicks in. Bit of bitterness. Alright. --- Beer merged from original tick of Imperial Porter on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Tap at the Watering Hole. Lots of roast, vanilla, bit sweet, good stuff. Bitterness is subtle, but kicks in. Light citrus hop burn at the end. Chocolate, prickly. Good stuff! More hops in the aroma. My favourite of all their 2nd anniversary beers and it was the one by Brimmer!

Tap at Cat & Cask. Nice enough, grainy, light caramel sweetness. Easy drinking. Light bitterness, bit of lemony hops. Alright.

Tap at GBF. Grainy, mostly that, not so much bitterness, feels like a wheat ale. Not so exciting, but alright. --- Beer merged from original tick of Session White IPA on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Tap at CBM Koenji. Citra earthiness at the front, not so bitter, little bit of sweetness, bit of citrus, but maybe not my hop of choice. Nice enough though. --- Beer merged from original tick of Citra IPA on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Tap at Brimmer Beer Box. Dark brown/black colour. Not much head. Little bit of golden lacing. Aroma is roasty, chocolate, bit of coffee. As you would expect. Taste is nice. Little bit of coffee bitterness, lots of roast malt, touch of cream. Something slight floral maybe at the back. Roasty finish. Like the porter with the plums replaced by coffee. Isn't that how stouts and porters always work?
