Tap at Living Craft. Mineral citrus nose, touch of apricot. Orange amber color, clear. Spicy, citrus flavor, medium malt. Decent but not so exciting. Somewhat English.

Light amber color. Big apricot and bready nose. Very hoppy. Medium full body, not overly bitter. Well balanced. Very smooth. Not a session IPA and way too full body but good stuff.

Brimmer Session IPA on tap at Bungalow. A crystal clear brassy orange juice it’s a creamy off-white head of foam. An aroma of white pepper and fruity hops with a decent side of malts. Lovely round carbonation and generally smooth mouthfeel on a medium body. The taste is crisp biscuit, light lemony citrus and mild pine. Quite a nice session IPA that veers towards balance rather than ramming hops down your throat.

Pours nice brown with some foam. Taste is amazingly soft, malty, fruity and has this soft malty Brimmer character. Really liking it actually, very nice alt, probably one of the best ones from this style I have had.

Dark brown, thick head, has a chocolatey, slightly fruity aroma. Balanced, maybe a touch light, and a hint of fruitiness and chocolate. Ok porter.

dark amber color. Big fruity nose with apricot and cherries and baked cake. Solid malt backbone, cherries and apricots, great hoppiness and solid bitterness. Very well balanced. Excellent example of an alt and second best in japan

On tap at Charcoal Grill Green Bashamichi, Yokohama. Almost clear amber with a lasting, off-white head. Fruity aroma, citrus, tropical fruits and notes of caramel. Medium sweet with flavour dominated by ripe fruits and citrus. Finishes fairly bitter and has a nice bitter aftertaste with citrusy notes. A bit too much on the sweet side for my taste, but tasty stuff.

On tap at WIZ for a Brimmer Tap Takeover. 4.7% IBU 56. Deep brown with a foamy beige head. It’s got a big citrus hop bouquet with a malt (coffee) edge to it. Medium bodied & dry. It is ascerbic with citrusy hops, roast coffee and oat notes predominating. Nicely done but a touch too roasty for me.

Tap at Bungalow. Nose of pine, licorice, some citrus orange, chocolate. Shiny, black, with a low, fine, off-white head. Flavor is slightly woody, cocoa and coffee, licorice, pine, orange. Light, a bit too light. Bitter finish. Very hoppy and decent for a session.
