From a polypin at the Seven Stars, Bristol29/06/10. Pale gold with slight carbonation. Juicy, pear aroma with a slight whiff of fartiness. Very easy drinking for the ABV, with lingering pear flavours, a touch of syrupy sweetness and some rough skin tannins in the finish. Enjoyable.

Cask at Catford BF 06. Pears and petrol aroma. Lots of pear juice. Tannin that coats the gums. Some sweetness, really juicy. Doesn’t taste as it smells. Very comlex and I liked it.
