When the council refused to transfer the tenancy to Ray's son Dereck, the family moved their farming and cider making to nearby Tirley Villa farm.

Bag in a box from BeerHeadz Nottingham. Very light yellow and clear. Sharp vinegar aroma with a hint of orchard fruit. Pickling spices and brandy. The initial taste is fully sour followed by the heady syrupy sweetness of the pear. Long fruity finish. Intense.

Polypin @ Shrewsbury Beer Festival 2017. Pours gold with a light mist. Light bodied, with some hard-to-pin-down buttery elements, reigned in by some moderately sweet perry pear fruit and additional funk. Ok.
