0.5l bottle from #N200. This one pours a really cloudy looking deep orangeish looking one, almost mild brown it's so orange-dark. On top a nice big really clinging and lasting white head. Lots of fresh hops on the nose. It's both citrussy and kinda sharp, quite grassy with tones of sweet peach and hop pellet. Yeah, a really nice inviting nose for sure. It has a mild oily texture in the mouth and it's about average and soft prickling on the carbonation. It tastes decent also, but it's not directly mild or balanced. Quite hop aggressive pine bitter. Almost a little harsh at times, still, I definitely like it. Lots of flavor here. Wet pine, grapefruit zest, hints of bitter melon and a yeasty hint in the hoppy tail. Somehow it tastes a bit old already, even if I don't think the bottle is especially old. 23.07.2015

A really nice, pleasant and fine example of this style. Refreshing in the summer sun. Sadly enough Iceland lost today.
Clear golden color with a fine thick white head. Good lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation. Moderate sweet and a fine fresh bitterness. Herbal, citric and pleasant mellow wort malty flavor.

Nice refreshing and easy drinkable beer.
Hazy Golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Moderate sweet and a fine bitterness. Fruity, orange and citric flavor. Quite well blended.

On tap at Amundsen, Oslo. Hazy amber with a fairly lasting, off-white head. Mild malty and slighty buttery with fruity and hoppy notes. At first it just reminds me of their regular pale ale, but then the chili comes sneaking. Moderate to medium sweet with fairly low flavour intensity, but a quite nice chilli burn in the end. Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry roasted, dark malts, minerals, sour grass, licorice, coffee, lactose, roasted grain, bark, paper, toast. Taste is slightly sweet and mineraly, dark malts, burnt toast, minerals, burnt caramel, roasted grain, weeds, paper, grass, lactose, coffee. Medium bitterness, burnt and watery mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Sample from bottle at ASKO-messe. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of fruity and herbal hops, moderate passion fruit. Fruity, slightly sweet and acidic flavour, some bittering hops. Drinkable, but unbalanced.

Draft sample @ Amundsen, Oslo. Not sure if this is a remake of the Anniversary Ale I but the listing clearly had it only under ’Barley Wine’. Orange sur léger trouble, col blanc. Arôme au nez assez plaisant presque BA et un côté de peanuts concassés, nez léger fruité noir, caramel. Palais est épais mettant bien en avant l’alcool de ce barley. Le tout rappelle presque un wheat wine, sorte de miel caramélisé en rétro, collant aux lèvres, fin biscuité, fini léger amer, fruit sec avec une pointe de toffee.

Draft sample @ Amundsen, Oslo. Cuivrée, col beige. Arôme au nez fin malté, caramel, rétro léger de malt crystal? voire biscuité et café grillé, petit accompagnement houblonné en rétro. Palais est malté, fin caramel, pointe de toffee, crystal avec une bonne rondeur. Houblonné un peu avec un fini agrumes qui complète ce côté léger de fruits noirs qui arrive plus en fin de bouche.
