On tap @ the brewpub. Dark brown, almost black body with a small, dense beige head. Pleasant aroma dominated by liquorices and some dark malt. Flavor is sweet, dark malt, some dry fruit, spicy, pleasant bitterness and quite much liquorices that becomes more dominating in the aftertaste. Fine and balanced body, smooth aftertaste. A nice beer on the sweeter side, quite smooth. I think this one is tasting closer to the second version from Midtfyn as the liquorices is more obvious than in the original version. A very nice beer anyway.

On tap @ the brewpub. Clear, reddish amber body with a moderate sized, dense off-white head. Mild aroma of malt with a hint of biscuit and caramel with a touch of fruity hops. Refreshing fruity and malty flavor with a pleasant light bitterness. Medium body and decent in aftertaste. A very nice, classic session beer bitter. Goes also very well with the food.

On tap at Amundsen. Clear, pale golden with a white head. Sweet and malty with hints of fruit, caramel and spices. Fairly well balanced and quite easy to drink. A bit weak in aroma, ok, but slightly disappointing. Some bitterness in the finish, but far from APA in my opinion. (2012-10-06)

On tap at Amundsen. Amber with an off-white head. Malty aroma with fruit and caramel and some roasty notes. Pleasantly hopped with a nice and midly bitter finish. Pretty light body, slightly water. Easy to drink and quite decent bitter. (2012-10-06)

Medium white head. Clear paleish yellow body with light carbonation. Light fruity floral soapy aroma, reminiscent of soap for doing the dishes, with herbal blackberry notes. Dry-sweet perfumy spicy strawy taste with fruity candy notes. Mid-bodied. Faintly sharpish mouthfeel. Dry floral strawy aftertaste with perfumy mineraly herbal notes. Nice and drinkable, and quite vivid, but a little bit artificial. (0.4l draft at brewpub.)

Small white head. Clear brown-red body with light carbonation. Nutty fruit candy aroma with earthy caramelly notes. Dry-sweet earthy nutty caramel taste with light floral fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry fruity floral aftertaste with bready biscuity notes. Clean, fresh, and vivid. Highly drinkable, too. (0.4l draft at brewpub.)

250ml draught, 6.6% abv, at the brewpub. Tan-coloured head over a jet black body with a brownish shade. Smell of dark fruits with smoked malts build into it. Dark fruity taste with red oranges, bitter liquorice and a touch of bacon. Bittersweet backdrop. Very smooth and soft. Well bodied. Enjoying (Oslo, 14.09.2012).

About 100ml draught at the brewpub. Close to clear, dark apricot coloured body, partially covered by a bubbly layer. Laces well. Aroma of resin and dark fruits. Fine blended taste profile of pineapples, grapefruits and caramel malts upheld by a long, dry bitter tail. Well bodied. Thanks to the barman for giving me the last glass of the beer. Great start to a few drinking days in Oslo (14.09.2012).
