Can. Unclear golden body with a small white head. Strong fruity aroma with citric fruit, grapefruit and oranges. Taste is fresh and fruity like a NEIPA. Taste is like a crossover between NEIPA and a Saison, a successful combination, lots of refreshing fruits but not too one-dimensional as you get some proper flavors here as well, some nice hoppy bitterness and spicy/peppery yeast. Medium body and average aftertaste. Not the perfect beer for me, but it’s definitively something going on combination the world’s most one-dimensional beer style with a relatively straight forward saison that actually contribute to much more complexity as a result. Interesting and sure a very easy drinkable and refreshing beer.

Bottle from Gulating. Unclear golden body with a nice off-white head. Aroma has ginger, cinnamon, cloves and slightly acidic. Taste is a lot sourer than expected from the aroma, lots of ginger, distinct cinnamon and hint of cloves. Medium body and sour, spicy aftertaste. A decent spicy ale with a twist, quite refreshing but ends up a bit one-dimensional when finishing the whole bottle.

Bottle @ Patrick’s. Pitch black body with a small, lacing beige head. Wonderful aroma of smooth roasted dark malt, hint of smoke, good coffee, dark chocolate and warming alcohol. Tate is super smooth as well, sweet, solid dark, smooth roasted malt, lots of quality coffee, some dark chocolate, hint of dry fruit, nice, balancing bitterness and warming alcohol. Perfect body and long-lasting aftertaste. A superb imperial coffee stout.

Tap @ Patrick’s. Unclear reddish orange body with a dense, lacing, pinkish off-white head. Aroma is distinct red berries with some acidity and slightly funky. Taste is like aroma, dominated by berries but still not too juicy, it tastes actually like a slightly salt Berliner weisse with distinct but mild berry, fresh, acidic and some minerals and mild funk. The berry part tastes a bit in-between something from the forest like blueberries/blackberries and watermelon. Medium body and same refreshing aftertaste like the rest. Not my favorite style of beer, but this is something I really could enjoy as a refreshment a hot summer day.

On tap at Patricks. A reddish-orange colored beer with a finger-thick lightly pinkish white head. The aroma is a bit too doughy I think, with some pale malt notes and a pleasant berry scent. Some lemony notes too. It's refreshing and lightly sour on the palate, medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with a light sour flavor. A bit doughy here too, but at least the berries adds a nice taste. Berry-driven finish. A beer for the spring and summer more than a rainy late winter night. 200228

Can 330ml (Vinmonopolet)
Hazy pale yellow colour, small white head. Grassy, some pineapple in the nose. Light-bodied. Juicy, pineapple, mango, not much Saison here more like NEIPA. Decent.
