On tap at Patrick's. A hazy golden colored beer with a creamy white head. Sourish, lemony aroma with mint hints. It's medium bodied, dry and nicely carbonated, with flavors of lemon, mint and citrusy sourness. Herbal hints too. Long lemony finish with a touch of mint. Refreshing, drink-like and quite pleasant. But not in a beery way. 180929

Bottle, courtesy of the brewery. It's a close to black beer, topped by a dense finger-thick head of moderate size. Some lacing. The aroma is quite roasted and burnt, with dark dried fruits and indications of sweetness to come. Caramel sauce, hints of peat and some licorice too. It's rather thin on the palate, smooth, with a soft carbonation. Sweetish, yet with a dryish touch, especially in the finish. Some burn malts sourness. Burnt malts and notes of bonifre, roasted malts and toast, dried fruits and licorice and a touch of licorice and caramel sauce in the flavor. Long finish. Pity this one isn't at around 7-8 % ABV, that would suit the beer much better. 180929

Bottle, courtesy of the brewery. It's a lightly hazy orange-golden colored beer with a small white head. The aroma has grass, pine cone notes, spiced, peppery hops and a light malty touch. It's medium bodied and dry on the palate, softly carbonated, with a decent bitterness. Grass, pine cones, peppery notes and a touch of something smoked, like smoked meat or sausages. Nothing annoying, just sort of weird. Dry, fruity finish with a decent bitterness. Easy drinkable and quite tasteful and quenching. 180929
