This one has been in heavy bbq rotation at my house the last few weeks - clean, crisp, with a prominent bitterness of grassy noble hops - dry, with a slight mineral bite at the end - floral finish - it’s not amazing, but for an American- made pils it is dang good - reminds me of when Avery made Joe’s pils - dang I miss that beer.

500ml bottle, 2023 vintage. Dark fruit aroma with notes of caramel, toffee, brown sugar, vanilla, bourbon, oak and booze. Pours cloudy dark toffee brown colored with a thin tan head that has little retention and no lacing. Starts with rich dark fruit, brown sugar, toffee and oak flavors as well as having a rich, full body and sticky sweet mouthfeel. Finishes smooth with caramel, vanilla and bourbon flavors as well as a good boozy burn at the end that seems to improve the more it breathes. Very good but it might be best to stash it in the cellar longer, probably 5 years or so might do it.
