Sampled at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces thickly. Aroma has a good amount of grain and bread notes with just a hint of backing grassiness. Flavor is crisp with grain and a bit of backing grass.

Draft at GT. Orange-brown, lacy off-white head. IPA, on the brown’dark side. Solid toffee and hop tones, Well done, sessionable, balanced. Not World Class but enjoyable.

Draft at GT. Deep unfiltered burgundy black. Thin beigehead. Sweet malty aroma, some chocolate. Oddly true to style, despite a watery, non-coalescing body. Odd amber malt tones, noticeable alcohol, the flavors don’t merge. You can tell what they were aiming for, but it just comes off a little too sugary and unrefined. Warming feel. Par at best,

Draft at GT. Hazy orange-yellow-tan. Thick white head. Fresh citrus laced respectable aroma. A really solid, fresh APA. Really captures the style well. Earthy, toffee tones. Medium bodied, all around pleasant. Some light flowery tones. Nails the style, while remaining sessionable. Leans toward citrus hops, but well balanced. Nice, but forgettable.

Draft at GT. Yellowed-tan, thick off-white head. Medium bodied, some nice easy yeast tones. Somewhat watery but that works with the style. Classic noble hops..maybe a summer Hellerbock. Simple, subtle, subdued. Some graininess, lemony. Not mind blowing, but a solid brew.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Grumpy Troll in Mt. Horeb, WI. Appearance very cloudy slightly dark gold with no head, like a juice. Aroma nothing really there. Taste goes down very crisp, light hay, bit of noticeable hops, really good for the style. Very good.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Grumpy Troll in Mt. Horeb, WI. Appearance is a cloudy caramel brown thin white head. Aroma unique english hops, light fruit, bit of malt, bit of yeast. Taste is pretty good, light burn, bit of fruit, rich in malt and hop, tastes more like a red. Pretty good.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Grumpy Troll in Mt. Horeb, WI. Appearance is pale light yellow with thin white head. Aroma of light hay, lager yeast. Taste is thin, corn, like a standard pale lager, for this style there are definitely better brews out there.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Grumpy Troll in Mt. Horeb, WI. Appearance a pronounced brown with lighter tone towards the base of the glass and a thn but frothy off white head that laces to the glass. Aroma is unique, kind of weird, molasses and nuts which I can’t say go very well together. Taste is a little better, I think the molasses subsides and the maltier elements come out a bit more. I’m surprised they call it a porter, doesn’t have those elements. Not my fav.
