Sampled at the brewpub, pours a clear copper amber with some lacing white head. Nose is very mild, some apple fruitiness, some lemon, yeast. Flavor is the same, yeasty, bready, some dried fall fruit, faint bathroom soap. Watery finish. Not my favorite.

Pours deep gold into a Sam glass. White head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sour butterscotch and roasted rancid vegetable aromas. Soft with cloying overripe banana and decaying zucchini. Uh, sorry, but this is really bad...

On tap at the brewpub. Comes to the table a lightly hazy gold color with a small white head that leaves great lace. Aromas of peppery spice with a light tart citrus and just enough sweet sugary malt to provide some balance. The favor is light and crisp with a honey sugary malt backbone that is countered with more pepper clove and light tart citrus. Light body with a spirited level of carbonation and a slick mouthfeel. Nice saison, I really enjoyed this one.

On tap at the brewpub. Comes to the table a hazy medium gold small white head that leaves lots of lace. They say that there is supposed to be blueberry in this, but I can’t find any hiding behind the highly astringent grassy hops and plastic phenol aromas that are wafting out of my glass. The flavor is pure agony, I have trouble taking a second sip to make sure there isn’t something I can salvage out of this brew. Bitter astringent phenolic grassy vegative, this one is a mess, the low point of this beer trip is embodied in this glass.

On tap at the brewpub. Comes to the table a hazy medium golden brown color with a small white head that leaves lots of lace. Nice sweet caramel and toffee and brown bread with light earthy hop aroma. Rich malty dark sugar and brown bread with a solid shot of earthy hop and hints of light fruit. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. This was the highlight of the night for me and from a style I usually don’t gravitate towards.
