Can from Total Wine in San Jose, CA. (Stevens Creek). Pours translucent orange tinged gold with a large, foamy white head. Aroma has banana. Not getting much clove. Med body, almost. Flavor is good on banana, but for me it's weak on clove. Decent drink. Mild clove burn. Very mild.

Waxed bomber from Bobby's Liquor in Santa Clara, CA. Pours dark brn/blk with a creamy tan head. Nice aroma of dark malt with rye whiskey. Full bodied. Lots of smooth/slick dark malt (It's Imperial Oatmeal). Flavor is smooth, burnt malt with a lot of whiskey and a good amount of rye spice. Chocolate too. Made think of the old Jello pudding for a moment. Silly, cause that didn't have rye! It's not really complex, but the flavor combo is quite tasty. Bottled 12/07/2016. But it was stored on a dark shelf in Santa Clara, and seems quite well preserved. :)

Tao at Harry’s Hofbrau in Redwood City. Tropics, mango and peach aroma. Peach is prevalent on the flavor. Opaque with yellow-grey. Small white head fades to a collar quickly, but patterns down glass well. Nice juicy finish.

Pours an iced tea brown from a can. Light citrus aroma, primarily malts, biscuity. Similar flavor, ending is mostly bitter but with a very light floral note right at the finish. Good beer.

Man I can see what they're trying to do here but they didn't quite pull it off. The aroma is fetid and almost putrid the the mix of The Malt and hops and yeast with the Bourbon Barrel gives it this sickly and nasty. It really cast a shadow over the flavor that didn't do the beer any favors. It's a Pity have because it could have been much better.

Wow very interesting beer. It first I was amazed and super impressed and then I wasn't quite sure how to take it and then again I loved it. It's very complex with characteristics of the Rye whiskey barrel and also silky smooth from the oats, thick and Rich from the chocolate malt. What a velvet hammer.

Bottle. Amber beer with a low cream head. Sour and light wine aroma. Sour and backing sweet malt flavor with light acetic notes and light fruitiness. Medium bodied. Low carbonation. Sourness and light acetic notes linger with light fruitiness.
