Tap at Gar Eden. Dark brown not much head. 2012 edition. Aroma is chocolate, alcohol, lots of booze, marzipan, fruity. Taste is good, initial chocolate, then boozy fruits, boozy kick, touch of smoke and spice. Great stuff, lots of vinous fruitiness, really smooth and warming. Booze fairly well hidden. Liquorice? Sweet fruitiness. Very smooth.

Tap at Gar Eden. Dark brown, creamy golden head, little bubbles. Quite thick. Aroma is chocolate, cocoa powder. Nice. Taste is good. Rich chocolate, but some bitterness too. Malty ovaltine. Good stuff.

Tap at iBrew. Lots of caramel, salted maybe, bit of sweet potato! Slightly thin. Aroma is more sweet, but still slightly salty. Bit earthy. Strangely appealing.

Tap at Gar Eden. Big passion fruit aroma which reminded me of the 80's soft drink quatro. Quite nostalgic. Taste varies between the fruitiness and more wheat. It's quite nice, but not really something I will drink often.

Tap at CBM Koenji. Quite smoky, or at least I got a sausage taste along with the wheat. Fruity, cherry, and bit of a boozy kick. Surprising given the %. Taste has light spice wheat, tiny bit of banana and cream.

Tap at Towers. Pale blond colour with small white head. Aroma is spicy herb, saison-like. Tiny bit of funk. Taste nice and herbal, quite crisp and refreshing. Quite fruity, bit of berry in there, maybe strawberry. Just a touch of sourness. But more saisony. Nice texture, not full on and very drinkable. Little bit of carbonation in there. I liked this.

Tap at Bankan. Clear golden amber colour, small white head. Aroma is not that strong, slight herb element, nothing much, bit of ginger, bit white pepper. Taste is ok, ginger again, slight caramel malt sweetness. Little bit of lemon at finish. It's ok, but not that amazing. Feels a bit lifeless.

Bottle from Hasegawa. Dark red/brown colour with big creamy and bubbly beige head. Aroma is lots of hops, resinous, hint of cat pee, brown bread malt. Taste is nice, not as bitter as I was expecting, lots of malt. Spicy prickle on the tongue, long lasting bitterness at the end. Not as hoppy as some red IPAs and all the better for it. Much more malt character. Pretty nice.

Tap at Ushi Tora. Pale blond, bit cloudy. Taste is lightly fruity, lemon, floury. Quite crisp and grainy. Bit weak maybe. Little bit spicy. Aroma is similarly weak not much there. Grainy and bit yeasty, creamy too. Strange. Nice enough, but bit boring.
