Can from the Costco advent calendar. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a medium-small white head. Sweet, with some earthy and spicy herbal hops. Flavor was similar, light spicy herbal notes, with sweet malts.

Costco calendar I’ve mixed up all the days at this point. Tannish gold and smaller white head. Nose is bread and herbal. Tastes of herbals notes, bread crust, hint of caramel, some cardboard. Light bodied.

330 ml clear bottle, as Herrnbräu Gold, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 4.9%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of wort, grass and baby porridge. Terribly bland flavour, just a bit of unwanted sweetness. A hint of herbal hops in the finish is not enough to save this beer from being one of the worst German beers I've had.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Almost clear brownish amber, small head. Aroma of tart dough. Sweetish with light to medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and doughy, not much phenols. Low bitterness.
