Description
La Crosse Wisconsin is a beer town. It’s been that way since La Crosse was just a settlement more than 160 years ago. There’s something special about living in a beer town — but brewing beer in a beer town? Totally kick-ass.
We’ve been at it since 1999. Crankin’ out award-winning beers and being part of the history of this town. Brewing great beer isn’t everything — it’s the only thing. Come on in and check it out.
Pearl Street Brewery is a pioneering craft brewery located in the heart of the Driftless area in the historic La Crosse Footwear building at 1401 Saint Andrew Street, La Crosse, WI 54603.

Keg at the brewery, 6.12.21. Dark brown large head poor retention. Weak roasty aroma. Taste is chocolate, roast, caramel. Slick. Decent. Would be better if they called it a porter.

12 oz bottle from Drake, thanks. Pours a dark brown color with a small beige head. The aroma is mild with smoke and sweet burnt malts. The taste is a very good smoked beer with caramel malts, earth and smoky meats. The palate was a tad thin, almost watery. the carbonation was lively. Lingering aftertaste of ashes. Overall: Decent.

Smells like potpourri. This is a genuinely unique and flavorful brew. Certainly my first hibiscus lavender cucumber Gose.
