Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. was founded in 1979, with founders Ken Grossman and Paul Camusi expanding their homebrewing hobby into a brewery. Sierra Nevada is considered one of the earliest and most influential breweries which spawned the craft beer movement of the 1980s-90s.

Can. Hazy amber beer with a cream head. Citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Tropical fruit flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and citrus linger.

Pours clear gold into a willi. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving spotty sheets. Caramel and pine aromas. Sharp with sweet lemon/lime juice, pith and peel front to back. Lasting grapefruit pith finish. Nice, old school IPA.

Black. Aroma is slight booze cinnamon dried raisin, vanilla, wood, slight cocoa. Taste is sweet chocolate with dense boozy cinnamon. Quite balanced though very heavy. Almost no carbonation. Smooth and boozy on the tongue. Long finish. Not bad at all.

Pours deep amber with a lacing white head. Aroma: plenty of burnt caramel, toffee and wood barrels. Taste: same with a nice bready malty back. Boozy but easy to drink.

35,5 cl can @ home, bought @ Plus Culemborg.
Hazy golden with a white head. Hoppy tropical fruit aroma. Bittersweet taste with a medium bitter finish. Not as great as other Sierra Nevada beers I had in the past but then again the can was a year old.

Pretty terrible, full of “natural” mango flavor that overpowers any other aspect of the beer. Undrinkable.
