Draught at Hi-Wheel, Portland
Hazy golden color with compact head. Simple, not much malt and hop quality, hence rather boring.

On Tap at TapHouse Boise hazy redish amber Woody malty body and plenty of hop IBU. Not so much the fresh hop flavor of an IPA. Nice big robust bitter.

Can pours out a clear redish amber. Modest clingy light tan head and lacing. Light woody malt flavors, mildly hopped and some carmel notes. A little bitterness for balance. Not sure I would call this an IPA..session or not. Smooth wet feel.

I ordered this blind from the tap handle, assuming I would getting Descender IPA. While not disappointing, I was taken aback at how light and smooth it was, very silky in texture. Grains/malt feature here, no hops to speak of. Blend of a wheat ale, Golden’s and minor lager characteristics. A nice diversion...
