Bottle. A small, dense, beige head forms over a more or less clear dark amber to light brown colored body. The aroma is quite weak, with bready, caramel malts and a faint peat touch. Or maybe just smoke and not peat. It’s quite dry on the palate, with some alcohol warmth and a pleasant carbonation level. It’s bready and lightly grainy in the flavor, with a nice bitterness and some caramel. A tad boring this one, but far from bad and not foul. 141220

Pours slightly hazy amber/brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, biscuit and hint of floral. Taste is medium sweet and lightt bitter with a long caramel and biscuit finish, Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Draft pour at the brewery. Pours a semi cloudy golden color. Very piney hop aroma. Good lacing. Bitter hop flavor up front with a piney flavor. Mellows down to an almost sweet fruit finish. Solid IIPA. Enjoyed this.

On tap at Bend pub. Pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is sweet malts a nice hop kick. Taste is as the nose with a good hop mix and bread malts.

On tap at Bend pub. Pours out a hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice super tropical fruit floral hops and a nice malt end. Taste is also very nice tropical fruit pine citrus caramel sweetness and a nice end.

On tap at Bend pub. Pours out a rusty brown topped with a sand head. Nose is malts some light roast and a hop twist. Taste is as the nose with a good malty backbone and light hops.
