Tastes like a very malty old school west coast IPA. Pine resin is the overwhelming aroma, whereas there's also plenty of grapefruit in the mouth. I also get some mint and butterscotch, but this is not a complex beer. It's a really brute force slug in the face.

From a 355ml can on 10/1/2020. Pours a clear deep golden with a medium head. Has a clean pine hop aroma. Take a sip and it's quite sweet with a big caramel and biscuit malt background, and lots of citrus fruit. Has a medium to firm pine hope bitterness with some resin coating the tongue. The mouthfeel is slick, the carbonation moderate to average. Actually drink more like an imperial than a standard IPA. But it's actually really nice, with nice balance and quite a bit going on. Definitely the best thing carrying the Malt Shovel label I've had in a long time.

(Can) Pours cleat golden with loose white head. Nice aroma - lemon, pine, pepper. Light body with plenty of lively carbonation. Great taste too. There’s lemon, candy, hints of bubblegum at the start. Bread and pepper notes develop. The finish has hoppy bitterness and pepper. Complex, tasty, interesting. Very good.

Can for #ratebeersupertasters. Yellow. Piles of passionfruit on nose. More going on in glass. Welcome funk and a touch of salt make for a very refreshing drop.

(Can) Pours cleat golden Amber with small loose white head. Lovely aroma - tropical fruit, pine, orange. Medium body with good bright carbonation. What a great taste, such a good balance of tangy fruit, caramel malt and hoppy bitterness. The foretaste follows the aroma, but quickly starts to pick up the caramel malt. There’s some hints of bread in there too. The hoppy bitterness builds for a great long finish. Very impressive.

375ml can into shaker. Thanks to Ratebeer and Beer Cartel. Pale amber beer with a slim bubbly head that dissipates. Light carbonation thereafter. Nose is lightly sweet and sour, some umami. Light body, full-on yeasty tang! Dry lingering finish resolves into an interesting fruitiness. Really nice example of the style.

330ml bottle - Pours a slightly hazy rose gold colour with a fizzing white head that settled. A relatively light aroma, mainly raspberry but with some yeast and grainy notes. A dry tart raspberry tasting beer with some grainy notes and a ligjlht tart raspberry yoghurt finish. Highly carbonated and a bit watery but still a nice refreshing beer.

Bottle shared with the KL Tasting Crew. Poured a hazy light reddish brown colour with a round bubbly off white head. The aroma is yeasty, herbal, light oaky vinous. The flavour is moderate to light sour, light sweet, with a light, crisp, red berry fruit, mineral, light sweet lactose palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Can from #ratebeersupertasters. Pink and juicy looking. Nose like a punnet of strawberries. Spot on flavour wise. Refreshing and balanced.
