Draft: Walnut and roasted malt nose. Black pour, headless. Sweet walnut, barely perceptible chocolate. Soft carbonation. A bit cloying. This brewery’s offerings run a bit sweet for my taste, but they’ve got chops. --- Beer merged from original tick of Sixth Seal Imperial Stout on 01 Jul 2015 at 17:10 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Sweet coffee, fudge, soil nose. Mahogany, thin tan head. Chocolate syrup, coffee, tree bark. Full body, easy carbonation. Nice.
