Description
Returning brewing to Wimborne after almost 80 years. Eight Arch Brewing Co. is named after the eight arches at nearby landmark Julian’s Bridge in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, UK. Producing hop forward pales & IPAs to dark & roasty stouts. We have won awards in both regional and national SIBA competitions for a variety of styles.

Cask at GBBF 2016 09/08/2016. A pale yellow golden coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is is nice juicy mango, peach, candied orange lemon juice, straw. Palate is semi sweet, juicy, decent cask condition. Flavour is semi sweet, juicy, mango, peach, straw, solid fruits. Pretty good.

Cask at GBBF 2016, Olympia, London. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, grapefruit, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes quite similar, hoppy, grapefruit, tropical fruit. Decent IPA.

Cask at the Nags Head, Reading. An opaque black pour with a ring of cream head; aroma of molasses; rather thin in the mouth and sweet, with a licorice taste; then becoming drier with a lingering aniseed finish. A refined and elegant porter, but needing slightly more body.

Gravity cask at EBF23, 24/03/16. Golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is melon, orange peel, citric tinged straw, light bread dough. Taste comprises soft bread, grassy, orange pith, lemon jus, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light hop bitterness in the close. Ok simple sessioner.

Cask at EBF 23, 24/03/16. Pitch black topped with a decent tan covering. Nose is light roast, charr, spice, toffee, dark fruit linger, dates. Taste comprises fruit cake, well integrated spice, charr, cocoa powder, roast malt. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough porter.

Cask at Reading BF 2016. Clear gold slight haze lasting white head. earthy grapefruit cascade aroma and flavour. Cascade pale ale does exactly what it says on the tin.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Tucker’s Maltings Beer Festival, 15/4/2016. Golden in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple and grassy hops. Flavour of biscuity malts and more tropical fruits, leading to a dryish finish. Very good.

Cask @ Egham 23. black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffe and chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and roasted moderate bitter finish. 260316
