Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery is a welcoming and engaging craft beer experience with a variety of unique craft beer freshly brewed on site to pair with our popular American crave-able food like our Brewery Nachos and Ballpark Pretzel, as well as comforting dishes like Bacon Chicken Mac n’ Cheese, Fish and Chips and Bacon Cheddar Burger. Each of our 32 locations has a personal brewer and friendly staff that work to connect with guests over stories, inspiration and love of craft beer in a casual and comfortable atmosphere. Draught @ the brewpub (Sept 2024). Extremely hazy bright yellow with a small foamy off-white head, faint mango aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter mango-citrus peel taste, thin body, long finish. Decent NEIPA.

Draught @ the brewpub. Clear golden yellow with a small foamy whitish head, orange peel aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter orange peel taste with faint mango flavor, thin body, long finish. Solid NEIPA.

Draft at RBY. Suitably hazy gold color with a spongy white head. Smell is the usual banana and clove, plus some dried grass and thyme. A nice change. Taste has the standard hefe esters, no extras to be found like there was in the nose. But a standard hefe with no problems.

Fonefan 241014. Dark amber colour with a beige head. Flavour is peaches, alcohol, malt, hop, caramel, sugar, floral, fruit. OK beer.

Bottle 22fl.oz. [ As Rock Bottom Warrenville Naughty Scot ].ABV: 8.7%. Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, fruity, dried fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dry fruit, candy, sweet malt, dried fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20141024]

Bottle, 22oz. 8.7% ABV, as Scotch Ale. It’s topped by a small, dense, off-white to light beige head over a hazy, dark amber colored body with microfloaties. Belgian-style sweetish aroma with toffee and some white sugar and fruityness. Sweet flavor with caramel, some dried fruits and a touch of cellar. Some alcohol and bitternes. Pleasant carbonation, full body. Lasting finish. Nice this one, malty and rich. 141024

Bottle 650ml 8.7% version @ fonefan
Pours slightly hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, floral, some fruitiness and hint of some smokiness. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long malty, caramel and fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
