A hazed dark reddish brown bock with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, licorice, molasses, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, molasses, very nice with age. Bottle from 2012.

47,3 cl can @ Timo A Aroma has butter, biscuity malt and some resiny hops. Flavour has resiny malt, butter, strong menthol and gluey tones. Too old?

A clean low bitterness red, slightly light in flavor. A bit sweet, but at least well made. Similar to a safe rickards red. Sk lb variety pack

Too bitter, lacking some balance. A bit astringent, not clean and not a great hop combo. SK LB variety pack

On tap at the Winnipeg airport. Has foamy beige head but rather fast disappearing and a reasonably dark brown body. Smells of very sweet lager barley, all smooth and sugary, no rough edges, like a ball bearing sinking in water. Flavour is a kind of weak earthy barley with vegetable notes. Wet on the mouth, no crispness, and that vegetable character lingers. This is an awkward mess, wonky would be the best word to describe it.

On tap in the Winnipeg Airport. Has a brownish body with copper notes and okay foam on top. Smells of a very macro lager with sweet fake malt hints, cardboard sugar, that kind of smell you smelled from the couch at your drunken uncle's house when you visited him as a kid in 1983 to watch the Jets in the playoffs. Flavour is smooth fake amber malt and nothing else. Full on the mouth and completely uninteresting, but approachable for those who live in fear of craft beer.
