Draft pours deep black with thin tan head that reduces but lingers. Thin watery/silky mouthfeel. Strong toasted malt up front - very smoky somewhat like a rauchbier, well balanced, mild sweetness, dry cocoa nib bitter finish. Very nice!

Draft at the Natomas BJ’s. Aroma is quite hoppy . Medium body. It’s fairly dry and more than moderately bitter. Flavor is mostly tropical (papaya and melon), light mixed citrus with some grass and pineapple. Quite tasty.
