Cask at Craft Clapham, 12/12/13. Clear dark amber with a good sized light beige head that retains well after thinning out. Nose is caramel, bitter hops, citric tang, bread dough, light coffee notes, orange. Taste comprises bitter citric, grapefruit, hops, light pine, toasty malts, orange pith. Great condition, this cask had just been tapped, medium bodied with soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, lingering hop bitterness in a drying conclusion. Decent hopped up amber - great feel to this one, highlights to me how catching the cask at a certain time may affect your scoring!
