From a Howler purchased at Liquor Shed. $6.99.
Pours a near pitch black with an off white head of foam. Shrinks to a ring around the glass. Not pitch black cuz I can see through it near the bottom of the glass.
Smells roasty, has dark chocolate bitterness that could also include a bit of pine. Definitely not on the sweet side.
Taste is of roasted malt, dark chocolate, toffee, not noticing any sign of pine at all. Slightly sweeter than what the nose insinuated but by far, not a sweet brew. The cool thing aboot this Baltic Porter is how bloody smooth it is. Belies the abv. .
Medium body light carbonation.
Nice and easy drinking BP. Worthy of a repurchase.

Shaker on draft at Sanford’s Grub and Pub - Sheridan. Weird and bad beer. Smelled and tasted like DEET

Shaker on tap at Sanford’s Grub and Pub - Sheridan. Orange color. Citrus hops are good in the beer. However, there is a good deal of leftover sweetness that makes the beer not so fun.

Draft - Pine and grapefruit with a caramel backbone. Clear copper with a rich white head. Sweet caramel, with a nice grapefruit punch and some orange and resin in the finish. Pretty decent.

In the can @ home, thanks to R@@@@@@ for picking me this up during her WY trip. Pours a deep red appearance with a small tan head. Burnt sugar / caramel, somewhat nutty nose. Kind of earthy and bready. Moderately sweet. Sort of cocoa power / chocolate flavor. Rich caramel. Drinks fine.

In the can @ home, thanks to R@@@@@@ for picking me this up during her WY trip. Pours a reddish orange appearance with a thin, creamy brown head. A bit nutty, caramel, biscuity nose. Fairly sweet, peanut, caramel / toasted malty flavor. Moderate to high sweetness. Dull bitterness. Bleh.

A very nice IS, kind of reminded me of BCBS from Goose Island. Drank at the brewery earlier today.

A couple of cans hand delivered since they aren’t distributed to Casper yet.
A slightly hazy straw yellow colour, it was out of the fridge so there’s a huge head of foam.
It smells of wheat with hints of some lemon. Very typical of the style.
It tastes of wheat with that bit of lemon citrus showing up and not letting the grain dominate too much.
Usual lightish body/mouthfeel.
Just another American Pale Wheat that is satisfying in its own way.

Had at the Lander Brewfest.
It poured a cloudy orange with a small head of foam, decent lacing.
The smell had bitter notes of grapefruit and pine
The taste was of grapefruit and pine but very lightly done. My palate was begging for more after the first couple of sips but no more showed up. Also, I didn’t notice much going on with the malt either.
This is not an IPA that will satisfy most IPA drinkers. Not worthy of a retry.
