The beer is a very dark brown with a 1" head of off white foam and has some nice lacing.
Lots of sweet malt and cocoa in the smell, which I’m digging.
Same for the taste...definitely English style with very little bitterness and nice levels of malt and cocoa, slight nuttiness.
Medium body goes well with a lightish carbonation.
This is a very good Brown Ale served from my Growler.

On tap at GABF 2012. Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium large white head. A smooth grainy nose with some sweet banana and apricot. The flavor is a clean fresh brew with lemon, tea, dry grains, honey. Good.

On tap at GABF 2012. Pours a clear black color with a medium off-white head. A nice nose of roast and charred wood. The flavor is simple and clean milky roast, some cocoa, ashes. Nice.

Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Amber-orange color with a medium off-white head and string lacing. Aroma of floral hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrus, bready malt and hops. The finish is mildly bitter with a floral hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sampled at GABF on Thursday October 11, 2012Black color, dark brown head. Sweet, hoppy, roasted scent. Sweet, roasted taste. Bitter chili aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.
