Cask at The Regal JDW, Cambridge, 03-10-09 Pours very pale gold, white head, quite a blunt nose, but there is a touch of buttery caramel. Taste is rather wishy washy, lacks a hoppy bite, very tame and boring for Roosters. A5 A4 F5 P3 Ov10 2.7

(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 8 Aug 2009) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, slightly malty nose with notes of peaches, citrus and mango. Malty, fruity taste with tropical fruit, bread and a mild, grassy bitterness in the finish. Below medium body, balanced sweetness. Refreshing and tasty.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 7 Aug 2009) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with citrus, orange, grainy malt, apricots and orange peel. Fruity, malty taste with notes of citrus, orange peel, dried apricots and citrussy hops in the finish. All backed up by a solid malt character. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Very tasty and well balanced beer. Nice!

Cask@The White Horse. Yellow color, small white head, some lace. Loads of berries in the nose (white gooseberry, strawberry, passion fruit). Fruity flavor, some lemony hops. Short oily finish with some bitter notes. Interesting.
