24 oz can. Clear gold color with a bubbly white head and fair retention. No lacing. Typical malt liquor nose. Generic grainy malt liquor flavor with a light booze finish. 5.9 ABV is mostly hidden. At least it's pretty smooth.

The first one of these I drank from the can, and didn't mind it. Lightly phenolic, wheaty and easy to drink. but in the glass? ugh. Really strongly noticeable solvent/soapy flavors. Hint of licorice?

Fair. Amber color, touches of caramel malt and faint grassy hopping, a bit buttery, or butterscotch. Easy drinking.

Ugh, just no. Marginally better than the Rockdale Light, this is nothing but a watery, grainy, dusty swill.

Not good by any means, with a strange metallic/spoiled milk backbone that smashes away any chocolate and roasted malt good will. Not that bad at first, with a perky, almost enjoyable chocolate front and modest mocha leanings, but the back end picks up a saccharine bittersweet note coupled with a sharp, tangy off taste, fruity and clingy and altogether unpleasant. Pours a dark brown that doesn't even attempt to look like a stout, but the tan head's nice and clingy and it gives up tons of lacing. Nose offers chocolate, but also hints at the sour milk undertone. Creamy, medium-bodied texture is actually quite nice, but ranks as the only real positive here. Not horrible, but not very drinkable, either.

Can from local Grocery Outlet. Pours copper color with a slight white head. Fruity hop aroma over some slightly cooked caramel. Very thin stuff. Flavor is dry and bitter, but xpt for a little cooked malt not much here. Great label tho.

12oz can pick up in Orlando
Pours clear golden with a medium sized off-white head, good lacing. Mild aroma is bready and caramel. Flavor is bisquity, caramel malts, wet grains and cardboard, mild bitterness
Decent but I wouldn't buy another one, except I already bought a 6 pack.

12 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 9/7/2016. Pours fairly crystal clear deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of honey, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit fruity/yeasty in the aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of bready malt and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of honey, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of honey, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, fairly crisp, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a nice Vienna lager. All around good obustness and balance of bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Really well made for the style, and very flavorful for the ABV. Clean Vienna/Munich malt flavors, with just enough earthy hops to balance sweetness. A nicely enjoyable offering.
