tap - Pours copper with a very piney aroma. The flavor is bitter with lots of pine character and a little citrus. It’s good though keep in mind that the bitterness level is more like an IPA.

Draft: Ruddy amber, cloudy, with a short, off-white head. Scent is caramel, rye....spoiled/sour... Woody, leafy, caramel malt, rye malt...but not in a good way. Hard to describe...just found it to be unnecessarily sour....like the ryes don’t fit together right or something.....I don’t know...just found it to be...uncomfortable.

750mL 3 feet thick wax. Pours dark copper almost brown color. Some light tan soapy head. Aroma is fortunately not big and bourbon-y. Dark, lightly alcohol woodsy, barrel malts but mellowy. A little chocolatey and the alcohol works without being over-the-top. Flavor is actually less alcoholy, I get a a good deal of age, a bit watery. Dark woodys malts. Not thick, reduced carbonation. If I drink a brown barleywine that is barrel aged, this would work. Of course, this price tag is restrictive. But I have to than my girl L-Black for sharing this with me, Billiam, and my lady.
